Day 3: Believe in the Holy Contour of Life

Believe in the holy contour of life.

Jack Kerouac

Questions & Activities

  • Where have you seen “the holy contour of life”? Where were you? Who were you with? What made this time significant?
  • Take a moment today to sit and look at the landscape. Perhaps it is urban, suburban, or rural. You don’t have to get away from home or work to do it. Just stop, turn toward a window or door, and look. Notice the contours your see, and how their interrupted, by nature and by humanity. Spend some time in reflection, five minutes if you can bear it, more if you can. Is the view you have a ‘holy’ one? Why or why not?
