A Call to Christian Environmentalism

Not so long ago, Tom Rowley, the National Director of A Rocha USA and Development Manager for A Rocha International, posted a piece on ETR about how place matter.

Well, today there’s more on this international Christian conservation organization, this time the Canadian wing. Leah Kostamo shares her personal story of finding her vocational calling.

Leah comments:

I wanted to change not just hearts, but communities and social systems.

She goes on to say, “When I learned about [A Rocha’s] ministry of creation care and community building I felt like all the strands of my life—strands of love of creation, love of community, and a heart for justice—were being knit together.”

Leah is also author of a book that’s got a lot of positive buzz: Planted: A story of Creation, Calling, and Community
