James Piatt

James Piatt has three collections of poetry, “The Silent Pond,” (2012), “Ancient Rhythms,” (2014), and “LIGHT,” (2016). He has also written over 1155 poems, 35 short stories, and four novels, “The Ideal Society,” (2012), “The Monk,” (2013), “The Nostradamus Conspiracy,” (2015), and “Archibald McDougle PI: An Archie McDougle Mystery” (2017). He has had poems nominated multiple times for Pushcart and Best of the Web awards. He lives in the foothills of Santa Ynez, California with his wife Sandy in a replica of an 1800’s eastern farmhouse. He earned his BS and MA from California State Polytechnic University, and his doctorate from BYU.
