A recent story over on The Horticult peaked my interest. As California brewery Stone Brewing Company has grown in size and popularity, they have turned to organic farming. Stone Farm provides food for the brewery’s bistros as well as some of the beers they brew. For example, calendula flowers were cut from the farm. And yes, they grow hops as well and use them for small-scale batches at Stone’s Liberty Street brewery.
