Six Months of EcoTheo

Dear ETR Nation:

It is hard to believe that it has already been six months since we launched the EcoTheo Review and ecotheo.org!

We just wanted to take a minute to thank you for all your support. For reading, for spreading the word, for your donations, for contributing your stories, articles and artwork… for everything you do, we are incredibly grateful. Your support helps us in our mission, and we think this mission is an important one. The impacts of environmental degradation on our lives and our world are becoming more and more serious. We are committed to the belief that faith communities are essential in changing this trend.

We want to do more, and to do more we need your help

We are ecstatic that we have a few hundred readers a day. We want a few thousand. Heck, we want a few million. For this to happen, we are relying on our fans to share the site. The best thing you can do to help is to share our site on Facebook, on Twitter, with friends, send out courier pigeons, yell it from the mountaintops—do whatever it is you do to share things. Oh, and we sure could use some money, too. We are in the final stages of gaining 501c3 nonprofit status and legal fees, website costs, etc., add up. We have some great ideas to help better serve our mission, but this requires money. So, tell your rich, nature-loving aunts and uncles about us.

We are constantly amazed by the quality of our contributors. From artists to Ph.D’s to pastors to poets, your creativity and vision continues to inspire us.

We are also always on the lookout for people to join in the conversation. If you or someone you know has something to add to ETR, we’d love to hear from you. You can also submit your work right here.

Again, a huge thank you, and we hope you continue to enjoy the site.
