What We’re Reading

Revenge of the Lawn by Richard Brautigan

A collection of short stories from one of the great writers of the beat generation. Brautigan captures the complexity and beauty of life on the West Coast in the 1960’s through his wit and unconventional perspective. From the carefree giddiness of teenagers on the beach of Big Sur, to the ambiguity of reconnecting with lost loves, Richard Brautigan captures the heart of the reader with remarkable brevity. I highly recommend this read for anyone who is a fan of Kerouac or the other beat poets.
